XXL Cobi Cruise Power wheelchair

Cruise Power bariatric comfort wheelchair – maximum user weight 325 kg. The Cruise Power is a powerful and comfortable wheelchair with a special backrest that is fully adjustable. Very suitable for obese users, adaptable to all body shapes.

An important function of the Cruise Power is that it is equipped with an electric backrest adjustment, an electric tilt adjustment and the Cruise Power can also be moved electrically. This will significantly reduce the risk of physical strain on the caregiver, while allowing maximum comfort, mobility and a social life for the user.

The back cushion is divided into nine modules, which are sewn together to form one large cushion. All nine modules consist of two parts. A sturdy foam layer and thick layer with a mixture of plastic granules. Six straps are mounted on the back of the backrest, each of which can be adjusted independently of each other using the patented FitGo system. Known from ski boots.

The controller is mounted under the seat. The wheelchair can reach a speed of up to 6 km / h. The maximum range is approx. 9 km at full load. The wheelchair can pass edges and thresholds up to 50 mm. The Cruise Power is also built to be able to drive up and down hills and slopes with a slope of 10°. For the user it means freedom to move both indoors and outdoors.

The Cruise Power is equipped with extra long armrests (615 mm). These provide stability and a good grip when the user goes from a standing to a sitting position or vice versa. The armrests can be rotated backwards, making it easier to move the user from, for example, the chair to the bed. The armrests can also be pushed down so that the wheelchair can be moved closer to the edge of a table, the user can then participate in social activities.

The Cruise Power from Cobi Rehab can be used in care centers, hospitals, home care, but also privately. Designed for bariatric users who need a comfortable wheelchair and features a pressure-relieving seat. The base of the seat cushion consists of hard foam. The core of the seat cushion consists of memory foam specially selected for the target group. The top consists of soft foam. The seat cushion is upholstered with a flame-retardant incontinence cover.

The Cruise Power is optionally available with an extra joystick, which can be operated by the attendant. You can then set whether the joystick for the person sitting in the wheelchair or the joystock for the attendant is “leading”.
